Chitec was founded in 1998 by Dr. Chris Chiu. The company is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, China and has branch offices in Houston, USA, and Shanghai, China. Besides its own sales force, Chitec has authorized more than 20 sales distributors globally, covering five continents. Both of the company's plants are located in Taiwan, China. Chitec is ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 14064-1 certified.
Chitec focuses on the R&D of specialty chemical additives for various industries, including electronics, automotive, aerospace, construction, packaging, and synthetic fibers. During this time, Chitec has steadily built up its major product lines, including UV stabilizers, Antioxidants, Photoinitiators, and Flame retardants.
