HAPCO (Huajin Aramco Petrochemical Company) was established in December 2019, jointly funded by North Huajin Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd., Aramco Overseas Company Limited, and Panjin Xincheng Industrial Group Co., Ltd. The project is located in the National Economic and Technological Development Zone of Liaodong Bay, Panjin, Liaoning .The total investment of the project is 83.7 billion yuan, mainly including the construction of 32 production facilities and supporting facilities such as a 15 million tons/year refinery, a 1.65 million tons/year ethylene plant, a 950,000 tons/year polyethylene plant, a 1 million tons/year polypropylene plant, and a 2 million tons/year PX plant.
