D&W acquires CM Packaging Group

US foodservice and food packaging products manufacturer D&W Fine Pack LLC announced on November 30 the closing of the acquisition of CM Packaging Group, a manufacturer of rigid plastic thermoformed containers and aluminum containers serving the restaurant, grocery, bakery, produce and food processor markets.

D&W expects the acquisition will advance its strategy to be a national supplier of foodservice containers and other products serving the food processor, foodservice and food packaging markets. The CM Packaging Group's business complements the D&W product offering, with both stock and custom products, and adds five manufacturing locations.

D&W revealed that total revenue for D&W is now approaching US$400 million. The company employs 1,600 people and operates from 11 locations in the US and Canada.
