Engel to host symposium on medical molding

On June 18 to 19, the North American branch of global injection molding maker Engel will hold a two-day technical symposium focusing on the new developments in medical injection molding. Themed "Clean and Precise – We Make the Grade", the event will be held in the company's headquarters in York, Pennsylvania, the US.
The technical sessions will cover various topics on impacting medical injection molding including FDA validation, controlled environments and clean rooms, mold making, microstructure molding, advanced processing and materials, medical automation and assembly.
Engel North America will also make use of the occasion to present its product in different applications, which include an e-victory 80/55 US with a Staubli robot and clean room packaging, producing lab-on-a-chip; an e-motion 330/110 US, molding a liquid silicone o-ring; and a speed 200 US running a 48 cavity syringe barrel mold.
