Adalis launches new website to support growing sustainable packaging and supply chain markets

Source: Date :2007-10-16 Editor :
Adalis Corporation, a global packaging and supply chain solutions company, announced last week that it is expanding its capabilities to support growing market needs for sustainable packaging and supply chain optimization. The company's newly launched website describes these new platforms, which come on the heels of rising retail demand for improved supply chain performance and environmentally friendly packaging that minimizes waste and reduces cost.

Adalis' expanded services will target the supply chain solutions market to help organizations optimize their supply chain – from sourcing to production to distribution – to increase efficiency and achieve dramatic cost savings. As part of this new focus, Adalis will be speaking on "Deploying Packaging Improvement Initiatives to Optimize the Supply Chain" at APICS, the Association for Operations Management International Conference October 22 in Denver, US.

"Rising costs in energy and materials along with greater focus on environmental and social trends are forcing companies to adopt progressive business practices and create new processes to simultaneously improve sustainability and reduce costs associated with their packaging and supply chain operations," said Patrick Hessini, president of Adalis Corporation. "Packaging optimization combined with sustainable practices can generate tremendous opportunities and drive cost reduction."
