LyondellBasell launches new CirculenRecover grades for packaging in North America
LyondellBasell launches eight new product compounds under the CirculenRecover portfolio, which contribute to circularity in plastic packaging.
The new compounds offer single-pellet solutions across a range of post-consumer recycled (PCR) levels. They are particularly fit for industrial and food packaging applications, including consumer rigid and flexible packaging such as caps, closures, crates, bottles or film.
Benefits of the CirculenRecover compounds include:
Carefully screened raw materials to ensure quality and product safety,
Improved consistency and processability compared to dry blends, and
Formulated to provide optimal PCR content, containing up to 100% PCR resin, for application and brand goal.

The Circulen portfolio includes three categories of polymers.
The new grades are part of the broader Circulen product portfolio in which it includes:
CirculenRecover polymers are made from plastic waste through mechanical recycling process,
CirculenRevive polymers are made using advanced (molecular) recycling process to convert the more difficult to recycle plastic waste into feedstock to produce new polymers, and
CirculenRenew polymers are sourced from renewable feedstocks, such as used cooking oil.
The new CirculenRecover grades are currently available in North America.
