Some participants of the 5th Edition CPRJ Medical Plastics and Rubber Conference and Showcase visited Neo Modulus (Suzhou) Medical Sci-Tech today (15 September).

Nasal sponge, 3D printing material for bone implant and repair, cartilage tissue engineering scaffold, bioresorbable stent and so on. These high technology tissue regeneration materials are the highlights in today’s plant visit.

Neo Modulus was established at March 2017. Located at Suzhou New District, the innovative company research, develop and manufacture regenerative implantable medical devices, with the aim of tissue regeneration and organ reconstruction.

Visitors learnt more about the development and products of Neo Modulus during the visit.

Neo Modulus has set up three R&D and manufacturing base in Suzhou, Weifang and Taicang. And with the laboratories in medical center in Beijing and Freiburg in Germany, the company forms a “3+1+1” R&D structure.

Neo Modulus is one of the solution supplier of areas in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. The company’s product line ranges from electrospinning, 3D printing, chemical synthesis and other key technologies on tissue engineering.

Its products are in different forms, including film, bone, plastics and solution, with involvements of various clinical departments, including oral medicine, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, surgical, reproductive medicine and sports medicine.

Visitors also took a tour at Neo Modulus’ production shop floor.

At the end of visit, visitors and representatives from Neo Modulus took a group photo together.

The medical plastics conference was hosted by Adsale Group, organized by Adsale Plastics Network. Kicked off on 14 September at Hyatt Regency Suzhou, the conference attracted more than 350 industry professionals to discover more opportunities and innovations in medical plastics.
