Interplas returns and celebrates its 75th anniversary

Interplas will take place on 26-28th September at the NEC, Birmingham, with a special celebration of its 75th anniversary.

Over 530 exhibitors will present on the show floor, alongside with conference sessions and features designed to elevate UK manufacturing’s knowledge of the latest plastics technology from different countries.

More than 530 exhibitors will participate in the showcase.

Interplas insights conference

A conference program will take place at the show presenting a wide range of themes and challenges faced by the plastics industry, including the latest in recycling, materials, digitalization, regulation and so on.

From the conferences, visitors can gain more insights on topics under the plastics industry.

Extensive line-up of interactive sessions during the conference will also be available, offering attendees to engage with speakers.

The introducing stage

This stage will host a program of inspiring speakers across the plastics sector. These sessions include topics of latest cutting-edge innovations in molding and forming, materials, automation, software and inspection.

Speakers from the plastics sector will have a chance to share on topics of latest innovations.

Knowledge pavilion

This area will provide visitors to gather information and form network from influential organizations in the British plastics industry.

Attendees can get together to share information and form network in the plastics industry.

Various groups, including RECOUP, the Polymer Machinery Manufacturers and Distributors Association (PMMDA) and the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3), will be on-hand to discuss R&D, training, regulation and the future.

Over the past 75 years, plastics industry has undergone several transformations with certain impactful individuals driving change and innovation.

To coincide with Interplas 75th anniversary, 75 names who have made a significant impact to the UK plastics industry will be announced to be honored.

All-in-one digital platform

In this year’s show, visitors and exhibitors will get access to the new event hub and app, designed to improve event experience and plan time efficiently.

This smart technology will also enable attendees to connect and engage with the community, get personal recommendations using AI technology and also schedule 1-2-1 meetings with exhibitors and speakers.
