(Fakuma Direct) Premiere of sorting platform takes center stage of Sesotec stand

Sesotec, a leading manufacturer of metal detection, sorting and analysis systems, presents a list of devices and systems, with a highlight on a sorting platform at Fakuma 2023. Under the company’s motto “Economy meets Ecology”, the company also demonstrates how intelligent technologies and sustainable business integrate with each other.

PRE-SORT sorting platform debuts at Fakuma

At its stand, Sesotec’s major highlight is the premiere of the PRE-SORT sorting platform. In PRE-SORT, the components VARISORT COMPACT sorter, dedusting, material conveying and central control are combined on one platform.

Depending on the requirements, plastic regrinds can be sorted based on colors, shapes, metal types or plastic types.

The platform also enables comprehensive control over the quality of incoming material. With sensor technology, PRE-SORT also allows the possibility of most diverse sorting processes depending on material composition, offering full process flexibility.

Flexibility of the platform is confirmed by PRE-SORT’s mobile base, which allows users to operate wherever it is needed.

In PRE-SORT, sorter, dedusting, material conveying and central control are combined on one platform.

Sensor unit ensures product quality

Sesotec also presents “Monitoring Package” from its PROTECTOR metal separator. It is an optional sensor unit, which is placed directly on the protector and monitors moisture, temperature and color deviations or fluctuations of the material passing through.

Information on parameter deviations pass on to a higher-level system, processes can then be adjusted, ensuring high quality of the end products.

AI in service and maintenance

Sesotec has also expanded its Artificial Intelligence (AI) expertise in the areas of service and maintenance.

The company also presents the new service solutions, which increase efficiency, productivity and connectivity of plastics plants in production, processing and recycling.
