Trelleborg Sealing Solution starts production at its first manufacturing facility in Long Thanh, Vietnam. The new facility focuses on servicing automotive and industrial markets for the fast-growing market in Vietnam and wider Asian region, as well as Europe and North America.

The 8,000 square meter advanced facility produces high-quality O-Rings and custom-designed engineered molded components with a wide range of elastomer materials using the latest compression and injection molding technology and plate heat exchanger gaskets.

Process workflows and equipment layouts are specifically designed to optimize flow and minimize travel distance. Manufacturing processes are standardized to ensure high service levels, and investment in automated final inspection guarantees quality standards for customers.

In terms of sustainability, insulation enables temperature control inside the facility, reducing the electricity required for cooling. With an array of solar panels, 835 kilowatts per month of renewable energy is generated.

Wastewater created during production is treated before disposal and dedicated equipment filters process fumes before extraction to the atmosphere.

Aligning with the company’s principle “local presence, global reach”, the new facility will join the existing Customer Solution Center in Ho Chi Minh city in enhancing presence in Vietnam.

Located in Dong Nai province, the facility is strategically located in southern Vietnam close to Ho Chi Minh City and major ports.
