HASCO offers new cable and plug for injection mold

HASCO offers new cable and plug to allow fast and space-saving wiring of power/signal plugs to the mold. 

Aluminum-shielded cable for outstanding protection

 

For applications of the premium cable as per DIN 16765 with its special inserts, metal mesh shielding and robust silicone sheath is no longer required with HASCO’s new cable.

 

The new cable H12251 with aluminum shielding and PVC covering available in four different wiring variants and lengths of 3 and 6 meters. It offers outstanding protection against interference signals.

Space-saving plug

 

Plug in the wiring of injection molds is proved to be user-friendly. The integrated fasteners can securely fix the strands on their own. A mechanism in the plug holds the cable firmly and enables easier removal at the same time.

 

As also necessary with previous wiring, cable lugs are required and the wiring time itself can be reduced by 75 % compared with the screwed variant.

 

HASCO also offers new plug, which has 12 control zones and maintains the maximum load ability of 16A. This implies less space is needed for the plug connection in the mold. The bulkhead housing is identical to the previous 6-zone plug inserts.

 

Seamless integration with HASCO wiring

 

Nevertheless, the company offers a connecting cable to fit the new plug with new compact plug layout and HASCO wiring. This means that the existing control technology can continue to be used without problem.

 

With these new solutions, HASCO hot runner allows more efficient and space-saving industrial applications.
