Jan 3, 2024

Coveris announced its joining of Plastics Recyclers Europe. The organization aims to promote the circularity of plastic and produce high-quality material from plastic waste, which align with Coveris’ No Waste sustainability strategy and ReCover recycling mission.

With the launch of ReCover and the opening of two dedicated recycling facilities, Coveris is contributing to sustainability and circularity journey.

Being a member of Plastics Recyclers Europe, the company can also partner with major players in the plastic recycling industry across Europe.

“Membership of Plastics Recyclers Europe enables us to partner with other businesses in the recycling industry, participate in working groups that contribute to sustainable change, and network with organizations that support our No Waste vision,” commented Philipp Niehues, ReCover Business Development Director.

Coveris is already a member of many industry organizations, including Flexible Packaging Europe, British Plastics Federation, BPIF Cartons and RECOUP, which all contribute to the packaging and supply chain sectors.
