Oerlikon HRSflow, a hot runner manufacturer, started the construction of its new fully automated plant in San Polo di Piave, Italy, to expand its capacity for the growing European markets in packaging, consumer goods and automotive sectors.

Located near its two existing plants, the new facility will use latest technologies in terms of organization, processes and machinery to manufacture the company’s expanded portfolio of hot runners.

The new plant is expected to start production by the end of 2024 and will increase the company’s Italian output by 30%.
