Perstorp, a specialty chemicals innovator, launched Pevalen Pro 100, which makes a significant advancement in non-phthalate plasticizers.

Perstorp launched more sustainable non-phthalate plasticizer Pevalen Pro 100.

 

Key features of Pevalen Pro 100 include:

 

  • 100% renewable carbon content based on mass-balanced ISCC PLUS-certified raw materials

  • Low carbon footprint with reduced carbon emission of about 80% throughout value chain

  • Drop-in replacement for easy adoption in formulations

  • True non-phthalate plasticizer

  • High plasticizing efficiency enabling faster processing and requiring less material and energy

 

Pevalen product portfolio started when Pevalen was first launched in 2014 as a premium performance alternative to phthalates. The company then added grades with better environmental credentials when Pevalen Pro 36 was launched in 2019.
