Human Horizons breaks EV range test record with HiPhi Z

Feb 6, 2024

Human Horizons celebrates a remarkable achievement as its HiPhi Z surpasses its rivals with 522km journey in cold weather conditions.

Exceeding rivals in world-scale test

Organized by the Norwegian Automobile Federation and Motor magazine, the test aimed to establish an industry standard for electric vehicle range and charging speed. In the test, HiPhi Z navigated through the treacherous Dovrefjell terrain, Norway, facing the challenges posed by storm Ingunn at the same time.

Out of 23 participants, only one car had a deviation of less than 10% from the certified WLTP test numbers, which is the HiPhi Z with a deviation of only 5.9%. In total, the HiPhi Z was able to achieve 522km.

CrossLoop Efficient Thermal Management

This exceptional achievement is attributed to the CrossLoop Efficient Thermal Management System, developed in-house by Human Horizons.

As a result of Human Horizons’ cutting-edge thermal integration technology, the thermal management system combines an efficient heat pump AC HVAC system with an intelligent and efficient E-Powertrain thermal management system.

This integration creates an energy-saving, efficient, comfortable and intelligent thermal system.

The exceptional feat of the HiPhi Z underscores its prowess in adverse conditions, setting a new standard for cold-weather endurance and performance.
