KRAIBURG TPE launches new recycled TPE for automotive
KRAIBURG TPE released a new range of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) products for Automotive series that contain at least 73% recycled content.

KRAIBURG TPE released new range of TPE with recycled content for automotive applications.
The latest release to market is Recycling Content TPE for Automotive, which will replace the current Interior PIR TPE ranges in 2024.
It is a combination of various recycled raw materials that guarantees at least 73% recycled content over a range of hardness ratings (20-85 Shore A). Compared to the virgin compound, this represents a 25% reduction in carbon footprint.
As the new range covers full range of hardness, it can be used in a variety of automotive applications. It also offers other properties include a soft touch surface and controlled level of emission and odor, allowing application in automotive interiors.
After-sales parts platform, Tessi Supply, has chosen KRAIBURG’s new range to produce inlay cases and floor mats for various car models.
The new range is available in EMEA region.
