CHINAPLAS 2024: MASIM simultaneous stretching system of Marchante to shine

Marchante, a major player in the plastic film production scene, will be present alongside the French government’s agency, Business France, at CHINAPLAS 2024. The innovative technologies to be showcased will include the simultaneous stretching system, MASIM.

 

MASIM is a state-of-the-art mechanical tenter that can stretch plastic films on both the machine and transverse directions simultaneously. It enhances film production by ensuring better homogeneity of porosity, lower energy use, reduced thickness (down to 2µ) for wet process, while producing more square meters of film.

Pioneering film bi-orientation technologies (wet and dry), Marchante’s high-performance production lines are used in various industries, offering:


-  conventional and high barrier films for food packaging (BOPP, BOPET, BOPA, BOPS, etc.)

- mono-material solutions promoting packaging recyclability (BOPE, BOPS, BOPET)

- membranes and separators for lithium batteries electric vehicle technologies (BSF, BOPP, etc.)

- specialty films for electronics and emerging communications like 5G antennas (CPI, LCP, BOPI, etc.)
