Something big: Sumitomo (SHI) Demag ’s first supersized roadshow truck to tour Europe
Sumitomo (SHI) Demag presents its first ever supersized roadshow truck with 20-meter-long mobile exhibition space that contain all of the latest injection molding technologies and timesavers. The company also plans a European tour for hosting customer events, presentations and machine demonstrations.
European tour with local experts
Starting at Sumitomo (SHI) Demag’s headquarter in Germany, the 40 tons #NextStopProductivity truck will set off on its European tour on April 8. The tour will cover 14 countries in four months, with 25 stopovers.
The planned route covers Italy, Spain and France. In May, the truck will arrive in Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Poland will host four successive events in early June, with the truck then heading to the Netherlands, Belgium, and back through Germany and France. The final four stops will be in Ireland, Scotland and the UK.

Injection molding technologies on the road
Local country experts will present the fully-operational all-electric IntElect injection molding machine. Other latest digital solution, with greater processing transparency and increased machine availability, will also be demonstrated.
The IntElect is equipped with a 25mm screw and a 2-cavity tool, which processes PP. HB-Therm provides with the Thermo-6 the appropriate temperature control unit for the application. Features of the technologies repeatedly increase cycle times.
