Established under the name "Foshan Nanhai Yilong Plastic Technology Co., Ltd.," the company initially focused on R&D and production in the plastic sector. In September 2018, it officially changed its name to "Guangdong Yilong New Material Technology Co., Ltd." This rebranding was more than just a name change; it marked a strategic upgrade—shifting the business focus from traditional plastic processing to R&D and production of high-end new materials, including bio-based materials, new membrane materials, and medical packaging materials.

1. Products 

Color Masterbatch:  Color masterbatches for non-woven, food packaging,        

Functional masterbatch:  Soft masterbatch , Light-proof masterbatch

Modified material:  Non-spraying Coating PP , PP used for furniture edging

Degradable material: PVA for water-soluble film

 

2. Technical advantages

 

Soft masterbatch： The non-woven fabric can reach the softening peak within 2 hours after use. (the average time in the industry is 24-72 hours)

Light-proof masterbatch:  Successfully applied to YILI Chunzhen bottle caps to achieve lightproof effect, without using traditional TiO2 techniques.

Non-spraying coating PP:  High gloss effect without spraying process.

High gloss, easily shaped, scratch-resistant.

PP used for furniture edging:  Lightweight and wear-resistant, environmentally friendly and odorless, heat-resistant and chemically resistant

Cost-reduction and efficiency-enhancement:  The weight of the Wrigley’s chewing gum bottle has been reduced from 15.4g to 8.5g through our inorganic filling technology. Costs are reduced by over 50%.

 

3. R&D capabilities

 

We conduct over 5 R&D projects annually, with a conversion rate exceeding 60%. The cumulative number of formulas has surpassed 2500.

 

Production and certification

1. Production base

With a total area of 25000 square meters, equipped with 30 advanced twin-screw extrusion production lines, the annual production capacity reaches 30000 tons.

2. Newly-formulated plans

A 10000-square-meter digital workshop has been invested and constructed in 2024, to further expand into the fields of food packaging and medical & health materials.

3. Certificates

Our company has attained certificates of ISO9001, ISO14001, our products has obtained FDA certification, met environmental requirements such as EN71, REACH, etc.

1. Main customers:  WAHAHA, Wrigley, Walch, HSU-CHI, Nice

2. Application scenarios:  

  Medical and hygiene products: diaper, medical packaging (25% of the domestic market share)

  Food packaging:  Yogurt cap, Mineral water bottle lid, Jelly packaging

  Daily chemical products:  Blown bottle, Cast film, Packaging film.

Competitiveness

1. Industry-university-research cooperation: Establish long-term cooperation with Guangzhou University, South China University of Technology,  Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering
