The 24th IAPRI World Packaging Conference attracts worldwide attention with the presence of over 200 experts from companies and research centres representing 32 countries

§ Speakers will present the results of their research at this international scientific and technological event organized by ITENE in Valencia, Spain.

§ An international scientific committee has selected the papers that will comprise the conference program, which is expected to draw over 400 attendees.

Valencia, March 20, 2024 - More than 200 scientists from companies and research centres across 32 countries will present their research between June 17 and 21 this year at the 24th IAPRI World Packaging Conference, the most significant scientific and technological congress in the sector organized by ITENE in Valencia, coinciding with the thirtieth anniversary of the technological centre.

The research, innovation, and technology papers to be presented during the conference in oral presentations in one of the four parallel sessions or as scientific posters within the exhibition area have been finalized. Furthermore, these works will be published in a special book.

The scientific committee, comprising international experts in packaging, has evaluated the most noteworthy works that shape the conference program. With an expectation of over 400 attendees, the event serves as a unique platform for the dissemination of innovations and advancements in the field of packaging.

The conference, to be hosted at the SH Valencia Palace Hotel, will encompass a diverse range of topics, including packaging materials, product packaging, packaging technologies, packaging machinery and technologies, packaging design and development, packaging for goods distribution, packaging for dangerous goods and chemicals, packaging sustainability, and packaging.

The conference is scheduled to start the 17th of June 2024, with a welcome reception and tours of ITENE facilities. Additionally, between the 18th and 19th of June, presentations and a poster exhibition will be held, followed by the concluding sessions, the IAPRI General Assembly, and the awards ceremony on the 20th of June. The event will conclude the 21st of June, offering attendees another opportunity to visit ITENE's facilities.

Complementary activities include guided tours of the city of Valencia, social gatherings, and an official dinner to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the research centre.
