Together with the VDMA, the companies Arburg, Billion, Conair, Haitian, Plasmatreat, Shibaura, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag and Wittmann Battenfeld are presenting the benefits of OPC UA in the connection of peripheral devices, in the interaction of machines from different manufacturers or in communication and data transfer via the cloud.

From practical examples, the benefit of OPC UA is about greater efficiency in increasingly complex systems, cost reduction and quality assurance.
