As an expert in additive manufacturing technology, Lubrizol offers its Avid 3D printing brand for Lore Cycle’s 3D-printed rider’s shoes. The material offers unparalleled comfort, support, style, as well as durability, to the footwear.

Lubrizol TPU is used in the shoe upper part, which is custom made using 3D printing, providing a lightweight and long-lasting structure.

“This 3D printing technology disrupts traditional manufacturing processes, enables onshoring, and offers consumers a new level of comfort and personalization,” explained Gert-Jan Nijhuis, general manager of Lubrizol 3D Printing.

Stephan Drake, CEO of Lore Cycle, added that the Lore Two shoes are based on individual’s unique biomechanics. The shape of the carbon shell accurately cups users’ sole, relieves fat pad pressure, and features a perfected custom toe box that lets their foot spread out under load.
