Venator, a global leader in specialty chemicals and ingredients, has launched the TMP- and TME-free TIOXIDE TR81 pigment, marking the debut of its groundbreaking reformulated titanium dioxide (TiO2) series.

This innovative product empowers customers to navigate evolving regulatory landscapes while upholding the exceptional performance standards essential for their formulations.

Engineered to align with stringent chemical regulations, the new TIOXIDE TR81 pigment retains the superior opacity, brightness, dispersibility, and durability of its predecessor – all without the use of trimethylolpropane (TMP) or trimethylolethane (TME). By substituting TMP with advanced organic compounds, Venator ensures seamless regulatory compliance without sacrificing product quality.

The TMP- and TME-free TIOXIDE TR81 pigment is the first in Venator’s new series of eco-conscious pigments. The company plans to expand this range imminently with the introduction of additional products, including TIOXIDE TR85, TIOXIDE TR88, and TIOXIDE TR92. The TMP- and TME-free TIOXIDE TR81 pigment is currently available, complete with full documentation and the necessary food contact approvals in Europe.

Customers can explore Venator’s TMP- and TME-free TIOXIDE pigment range at the European Coatings Show in Nuremberg, March 24-27.
