Chambroad showcases five technologies with multiple product launches

Under the theme “Innovation for Green Plastics Solutions”, Chambroad Holding Group (Booth: 16C41) makes a bold appearance at CHINAPLAS 2025, showcasing five core technologies—high-performance polypropylene (PP), polyolefin elastomers (POE), specialty synthetic rubbers, para-aramid paper, and breathable elastic materials—alongside over 30 innovative products and solutions across four major applications: home living, green retail, healthcare, and smart mobility.

Chambroad_3_480.jpg

Chambroad’s key debuts at CHINAPLAS 2025 include:

Transparent  PP(MI  8–60): full-range  product  matrix  with  high  clarity  at  low  processing temperatures, and a wide and stable thermal processing window (190°C–300°C).

Impact copolymer PP: ultra-low density (0.90 g/cm³)withhigh flowability and impact strength, ideal for lightweight and complex automotive components.

Betopp®POE series: produced via proprietary continuous solution polymerization. Betopp®-PV: high transmittance and volume resistivity for efficient photovoltaic performance. Betopp®-G: targeted at modification, wires and cables, and shoefoaming for improved impact resistance and dimensional stability.

Medical-grade breathable elastic materials: skin-friendlywith 3patents, and certified by RoHS, REACH, FDA, and other international standards—including testing for PFAS and halogen content.

Pure para-aramid paper: deliveringlightweight honeycomb core structures while maintaining mechanical strength.

World’s firstapplication of bio-based itaconate rubber for tires: reducingCO₂ emissions by 1.4 tons in every ton of bio-based itaconate rubber produced, compared to petroleum-based rubber; its bio-based carbon content ranges from 20% to 100%.

Arburg presents technologies for Asia

Arburg (Booth: 12F41) presents advanced technologies for the Asian market at CHINAPLAS 2025.

Two allrounder E Golden Electric Evo machines demonstrate reliable LSR processing and the efficient production of medical bulk items. A turnkey system centered around an Allrounder rotary table machine produce connector components fully automatically for the mobility sector. Special exhibition areas for arburgSOLUTIONworld introduce the topics of automation, digitalization and service.

Arburg_1_480.jpg

Compared to standard hydraulic machines, dry cycle times are reduced by up to two seconds. In addition, the energy requirement can be reduced by up to 50 percent.

The center piece of the turnkey system is an Allrounder 1600 T rotary table machine with a clamping force of 2,000kN, which sequentially overmoulds metal inserts into high-voltage modules for automotive connectors. A small six-axis robot feeds the inserts into the system via a transfer platform and stacks the finished molded parts. A second, large six axis robot places the metal inserts in one half of Concraft's injection mold. After overmoulding with glass fiber-reinforced PBT, it transfers the pre-molded parts to the second half of the mold, where the finished module is produced by overmoulding again.

Covation Biomaterials announces launch of BioPTMEG

Covation Biomaterials LLC (Booth: 20H21), a biomaterials company with advanced technology in bio-based materials, announces its newest innovation, CovationBio® bioPTMEG, at CHINAPLAS 2025.

The advanced, sustainable polytetramethylene ether glycol (PTMEG) delivers high performance with significantly lower environmental impact and is a bio-based alternative to petroleum-based PTMEG for high performance applications such as spandex, polyurethanes and thermoplastic elastomers.

covation_480.jpg

A few of the superior sustainability benefits offeredby CovationBio® bioPTMEG include:

a substantial reduction of greenhouse gas emissions compared to fossil-based incumbents

a product that is100% bio-based and obtained from annually renewable resources

the use of feedstock such as corncobs which do not compete with primary food sources

a reduced reliance on non-renewable fossil fuel use

drop-in performance to allow downstream to switch to bio-based raw material without major process change

The construction of a plant in Qidong, Jiangsu Province, is expected to be mechanically complete toward the end of 2025. Commercial production should begin in Q1 of 2026.

BASF demonstrates MAKE–USE–RECYCLE phases  of #OurPlasticsJourney

At CHINAPLAS 2025, BASF (Booth: 17D91) unveils sustainable innovations and co-creations that advance sustainability, circularity, and performance across the MAKE–USE–RECYCLE phases of #OurPlasticsJourney.

BASF1_480.jpg

Visitors to BASF’s booth can see how specific materials solutions by product value chains for the plastics industry can be made, used and recycled for a more sustainable future.

A hands-on demonstration of how BASF is supporting #OurPlasticsJourney with industry-leading tools such as the PACIFIC app, a solution for the exchange of Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data of BASF products, and a joint development of BASF and CircularTree, is also available for visitors. With the PACIFIC app, BASF customers have access to an extremely user-friendly and at the same time technically powerful way of exchanging PCF values in accordance with the Catena-X standards.

BASF will also showcase the latest applications of its innovative and sustainable materials, some highlights include: the Kia EV3 Study Car features 8    sustainable materials from BASF in various parts and components of the car, TE Connectivity’s automotive connector made with BASF’s circular solution Ultramid® Ccycled® polyamide, and medical tubes and conveyor belt made with Elastollan® GMP certified TPU.

KINGA launches two products

KINGFA (Booth: 17D101), a worldwide leader in advanced chemical materials, unveils an impressive lineup of groundbreaking   products at CHINAPLAS 2025.

Under the theme "Towards Sustainability, Together to Win", KINGFA highlights its innovative solutions through three key showcases: Reimagining the World with Plastics, Shaping All Things, and Exploring the Future of Plastics.

KINGFA2_480.jpg

At the company booth, KINGFA launches two innovations: a PFAS-free, ultra-thin, flame-retardant high-performance polycarbonate and its alloy series, and the next-generation low-carbon Vicryst® LCP CER-B material.

The PC-FNT127B2 polycarbonate, the world's first PFAS-free ultra-thin flame-retardant polycarbonate material to achieve a UL94 V-0 flame-retardant rating at just 0.8 mm thickness.

Meanwhile, Vicryst® LCP CER-B marks KINGFA as one of the first to earn ISCC PLUS certification for LCP materials.

Notably, in embodied robotics and the low-altitude economy, KINGFA's metal-replacement plastics and carbon fiber composite materials have gained traction with leading clients. The company’s robotic material portfolio will be showcased, including specialty engineering plastics, bio-based materials, and high-quality post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics.
