Uniloy establishes new ASEAN base in Malaysia
Uniloy, a US-headquartered blow mold solutions provider, has established its new ASEAN base in Penang, Malaysia, marking a strategic step in the company’s global expansion, enabling production of European-designed shuttle blow molding machines, built entirely from 100% Asia-sourced components.
Uniloy Malaysia’s first locally designed and manufactured machine, based on Uniloy’s all-electric UCS 27 shuttle blow molder, will launch in Q1 2026, with commercial production orders expected by Q4 2026.

Uniloy Malaysia will focus on industries including edible oils, lubricants, cosmetics and personal care packaging. It will also provide local service, spare parts, and training programs that strengthen support for customers in the Asian region.
“We spoke to numerous customers throughout Southeast Asia and learned there is a great need and demand for Uniloy. Customers told us they desired locally built machines backed with reliable local support, and this move will enable us to deliver on that. Uniloy Malaysia is our commitment to deliver world-class performance at a cost structure that fits regional needs,” said Gary Riley, CEO of Uniloy.
By combining European engineering excellence with regional manufacturing, sourcing, and service, Uniloy is poised to meet the growing demand in Southeast Asia while strengthening its global footprint.
