KEBO merges into Plastisud Group
KEBO AG, a Switzerland-based manufacturer of high-precision injection molds for medical/pharmaceutical, laboratory, and thin-wall packaging sectors, and the French Plastisud Group merge to create a leading provider of high-performance injection mold and hot runner solutions.
The transaction was signed on June 22, 2026. KEBO will operate under the umbrella of the French Plastisud Group in the future.
The merger with Plastisud is intended to enable more efficient use of capacities in order to better serve rising customer demand, particularly in the rapidly growing diabetes and obesity market. By combining the two companies, the strengths in the areas of innovation, technology, and rapid scalability are to be realized even more effective for customers.
Operating as independent company
KEBO will continue to operate as an independent company within the Plastisud Group. Within the Plastisud Group, KEBO will serve as the center of excellence for applications in the medical/pharmaceutical and laboratory industries.
Continuity is a key element of the transaction: the existing management team and the previous owners will remain on board to ensure a customer-focused transformation and collaboration.
“With this long-term succession plan, we are confident that KEBO will be able to further strengthen its strong position in the field of drug delivery devices,” said Gerold Keller, current co-owner of KEBO.
“This strategic alignment opens up very attractive opportunities for us in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, a business that complements our existing product and customer portfolio very well,” said Laurent Buzzo, President and CEO of Plastisud.
