LANXESS launches Disflamoll Advance platform for extremely low TPP plasticizing flame retardants
LANXESS, a global specialty chemicals company, has launched Disflamoll Advance, a next-generation platform for plasticizing flame retardants featuring extremely low triphenyl phosphate (TPP) content of less than 0.1%.

Disflamoll Advance can be used in PVC flooring, among other applications.
Tailored to diverse applications, it addresses the increasingly complex regulatory landscape and emerging compliance requirements while maintains the performance standards customers expect.
Beyond its extremely low TPP content, Disflamoll Advance maintains high flame retardancy and strong smoke suppression. Due to its properties, it helps reduce or eliminate antimony trioxide (ATO) in formulations and improves processing efficiency.
Disflamoll Advance OT for polar polymer systems
The first product introduced under the new platform is Disflamoll Advance OT. It is specifically designed for use in polar polymer systems.
Key applications include flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) used in flooring, tarpaulins and synthetic leather, insulation foams, thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU), synthetic rubbers, and cellulose esters.
Developed to address evolving market, regulatory and sustainability needs, Disflamoll Advance OT combines extremely low TPP content with the flame-retardant, plasticizing and smoke-suppressing properties customers expect from the Disflamoll brand.
Moreover, due to the use of renewable energy and raw materials, the carbon footprint can be up to 40% lower than conventional alternatives.
Disflamoll Advance OT is available now, with additional solutions planned as the platform expands to address evolving customer, market and regulatory requirements.
