Evosys relocates IT infrastructure for further company growth
Evosys has successfully relocated its central IT infrastructure to certified data center in Nuremberg, Germany, providing necessary capacity to reliably support digitalization and planned company growth.
"Such a relocation is a demanding task, as IT must remain reliably available for business operations throughout. We had to plan each step carefully and align the transition well with the company's processes," said Frank Brunnecker, Managing Director of Evosys Laser GmbH.
In the data center, central servers, company applications and IT services are operated under conditions specifically tailored to the requirements. These include reliable power supply, air conditioning, regulated access and high-performance network connectivity. The location meets recognized quality and security standards.
The existing IT was also reviewed and further developed as part of the move. The migration was carried out in steps from the end of 2025 and could be integrated into the ongoing business operations.
Cloud services and the data center infrastructure continue to complement each other. This creates a flexible foundation for existing applications and new digital solutions.
The data center relocation is also a further step in Evosys’ long-term information security strategy. Currently, information security management at the company location is being systematically prepared for ISO/IEC 27001 certification. The goal is to permanently anchor information security in processes, organization and technical infrastructure.
