Retracing 70 years of innovation of TECHNYL polyamides at Fakuma 2023

TECHNYL launched a sustainability mission two years ago as a “benchmark for sustainable development and social responsibility”.

At Fakuma, the brand will reveal some important achievements as part of its decarbonization journey that has allowed it to keep increasing our share of sustainable solutions.

As a leading polyamide 6 and polyamide 66 solutions provider, DOMO will showcase updates on the DOMAMID and STABAMID virgin polymer product lines.

The products serve engineering plastics, film, fiber and textile industries with high-quality solutions for better end-product performance.

At Fakuma, the company will launch its new sustainable polyamides – TECHNYL 4EARTH A1E 218 V30 BK 34NG LP, designed for more sustainable cooling applications, TECHNYL 4EARTH HFFR and flame-retardant polyamides based on recycled feedstock.

A new PA6-based, unfilled dust free solution, TECHNYL C 102 NC DF, will be presented at Fakuma. It provides optimal processabillity and is aligned with market standard requirements, especially for the production of electric plugs, sockets, switches and connectors.

With increasing demand for innovation among water management solutions, DOMO shifts away from traditional materials such as brass, steel and other metals, to contribute on higher performing systems that are better protected against corrosion and degradation.

Under the new brand TECHNYL LITE, the unidirectional UD tapes, which offers a lightweight solution for high stiffness and strength, will be a highlight at Fakuma.

DOMO has further developed the tapes to enhance plastic application, specifically for structural parts used in automotive and consumer goods, since its launch at K in 2022.
