Shredder quartet for Veolia Nederland subsidiary

With four recycling lines in three-shift operating 24/7, the company mainly recycles polyethylene (PE) from post-consumer waste and polypropylene (PP) from flowerpots.

The fourth machine in the recycling plant is the recently added WEIMA W5.18 single-shaft shredder. The machine can carry out flowerpot recycling efficiently.

Wheel loaders transported and filled pre-shredded material into the large hopper opening of the WEIMA shredders.

After the pressed bales have been pre-shredded, the W5.18 shreds them to a homogeneous flake size. The built-in swing-arm pusher presses the material against the rotor in a load-dependent manner. The flakes are then washed and extruded.
