Plug-and-play UP Super Board saves cost and time for EV makers

At CES 2024, U POWER Tech showcased its UP Super Board, which is a skateboard chassis that acts as an electric vehicle (EV) foundation for automakers.

This innovation allows automakers to design more customized upper bodies and reduce the development time by at least 6 months, which cuts cost and time, according to the Chinese EV technology startup.

The UP Super Board integrates core capabilities of advanced EVs, including electric propulsion, suspension, steering, thermal management and Level 2+ advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

The battery system integrated into the UP Super Board offers more choice in battery solutions that are optimized for diverse production needs.
