At the 13th Edition CPRJ Plastics in Automotive Conference and Showcase, Jingyue Hou, Project Director of Environment and Circular Economy Team at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), shared the details of “Circular Pathways for High - Value Plastics from End-of-Life Vehicles/Electronics in China and India” project. 


The project promotes the recycling of high-value plastics (taking polycarbonate as an example) from end-of-life vehicles in China and electronic waste in India. For end-of-life vehicles, the project focuses on car-to-car, closed-loop recycling of polycarbonate car lamp. 


The partners in this project include GIZ, GEM, Ausell, Covestro, Nio, Volkswagen and TÜV Rheninland.
