With the continuous development of the automotive industry, consumers'demands for personalized and diverse interior and exterior designs of cars are increasing. This has driven manufacturers to set higher requirements for materials and production technologies. The development of injection-molded coating (DC/IMC) technology by Covestro began in the early part of this century. After 20 years of technological accumulation, we have gained rich experience in process and material development. In recent years, the Covestro team has deeply participated in multiple DC/IMC mass production projects, closely collaborating with manufacturers and component suppliers, constantly exploring innovative solutions, and continuously upgrading DC/IMC base material materials to meet the technical requirements of different components.
