On the eve before PACK EXPO, US-based Sun Chemical and Germany machinery supplier Windm?ller & H?lscher (W&H) will co-host a special event – "Transform Your Packaging with COLOR" to discuss the impact of color on packaging for shelf standout.
The event, taking place on November 5 in Chicago, the US, will feature four guest speakers who will discuss trends that support the importance of color in package design, show how color can be used effectively on packaging, talk about the importance of color in the initial design concept, explore key factors that should be discussed with a printer during the package design process, and explain what tools a printer relies on to ensure precision with each project.
Charles Murray, President of North American Inks at Sun Chemical, will be one of the speakers at the event as well as Ronald DeVlam from the packaging design agency, Webb deVlam; David Luttenberger from the marketing intelligence agency, Mintel; and Tom Apple from the press manufacturer, W&H. The presentation will conclude with a Q&A featuring an expert panel of design and printer/converter professionals.
"Brand owners and printers are always looking for innovative new ways to transform their packaging," Murray said. "We're excited to host an event that will provide insights that will help them use color to elevate their packaging to another level and amplify a product's position on the shelf. It will be a thought-provoking afternoon of learning and networking."
