China planning to offer tax benefits for rubber recycling industry
The Chinese government is planning to offer tax benefits for tire recyclers by the end of this year, according to unnamed source that appeared in the technical conference organized by China Tire Retreading, Repairing & Recycling Association.
The plan, drafted by the Ministry of Finance and State Administration of Taxation, said that tires made from 100% recycled rubber are entitled for the benefits if they meet the national and industry standards regarding technology, waste gas and water generation.
Manufacturers that are certified with ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 standards can receive a 50% value-added tax reduction with a maximum amount of RMB 50 million per year. In addition, they must have a tax credit grading of B or higher.
