Brückner presents new enhanced BOPA technology at CHINAPLAS 2022
Echoing the theme “new opportunities towards green economic transformation”, Brückner Maschinenbau will highlight the latest solutions for film stretching at CHINAPLAS 2022.
The new sequential and simultaneous BOPA (biaxially oriented polyamide) technology of Brückner will be presented for the first time at CHINAPLAS. It is enhanced by a brand-new, wider line concept with the unique simultaneous LISIM technology.
Besides specific and high film quality, the new BOPA lines offer efficiency advantages compared to other common lines: 55% more speed (225 m/min vs. 350 m/min) and 74% more output (1,525 kg/h vs. 2,650 kg/h), which also means lower specific energy consumption.
Packaging applications for fatty, oily and frozen food with BOPA continue to rise, as BOPA films meet tough packaging demands due to their outstanding gas barrier, oil resistant and freezer suitable properties, says Brückner.

Brückner Maschinenbau will present its new enhanced BOPA technology at CHINAPLAS 2022.
One of Brückner's main focuses with regard to circular economy is BOPE mono-material films, which are able to substitute multi-layer films made from different materials. Therefore, the company will also present further improved line concepts for the production of BOPE films, which are flexible to produce BOPP films. Newly developed products, such as a flexible stand-up BOPE pouch, will be shown at the booth.
It is noteworthy that Brückner ONE is the digital concept that optimally supports line operators. In addition to improved operation system and predictive maintenance, its analytics feature has been further developed, including tools for analyzing the plant during operation.
For example, by using special sensor technology, electricity and heat consumption data can be measured in a verified manner for energy consumption reduction measures.
At the joint Brückner Group booth, besides Brückner Maschinenbau, visitors will also meet Brückner Servtec with their solutions for the profitable and sustainable operation of film stretching lines, Kiefel which will show the latest developments for the packaging, medical and appliance industries, and PackSys Global, presenting advanced packaging equipment.
