China's latest catalogue on foreign investment includes plastic construction material

China has included items on encouraging the development of replacing construction material, including metal and wood, by using plastics, in the newly released "Catalogue on Foreign Investment in Industry".
Source from professionals in China's plastics industry point out the update of Catalogue aims to foster restructure of plastics industrialization and promote invention of energy saving plastics product. It also encourages introduction of novel technology, technique and material, as well as educating the industry to develop long-term goals and visions.
It is also hoped that building and construction material will become a cornerstone of the plastics industry and main attraction of investment.
