China launches new rule to regulate plastic waste recycling

China has launched a new regulation to reduce and control the pollution caused during the collection and recycling of waste plastics.
The Technical Specifications for Pollution Control during Collection and Recycle of Waste Plastics (HJ/T 364-2007) give out a set of requirements for environmental technology as well as the standards for pollution control.
It will be effective from December 1, 2007.
