Guangzhou to build recycling system for foamed plastic containers
Nov 7, 2006
A system tailor-made for recycling disposable foamed plastic containers for food and beverage in Guangzhou is being built at present according to Guangzhou Economic and Trade Commission.
Based on the experience in Shanghai, the Guangzhou system will comprise three tiers: collection from community, collection from markets, and centralized utility and treatment.
In the recycling of these disposable foamed plastic containers, Guangzhou is facing such problems as scattering manufacturers and insufficient law enforcement.
