As the first player in Thailand’s beverage market to use 100% rPET bottles for its soft drink Pepsi, Suntory PepsiCo Beverage Company has reaffirmed its commitment to packaging sustainability and launched 100% rPET bottles for its Oolong TEA+. Suntory PepsiCo introduces Thailand’s first 100% rPET bottles for ready-to-drink tea.

The Thai company aims to achieve circular economy by implementing bottle-to-bottle recycling. Mr. Anawat Sangkhasap, Chief Marketing Officer, explained that one of the consumer trends nowadays was a greater emphasis on sustainability in customers’ decisions, which aligns with the company’s commitment to promote sustainable packaging management, including using high-quality PET plastic and eco-design for packaging.

The TEA+ rPET bottles are clearly labeled with a 100% rPET logo, making it easy for consumers to recognize and remember to recycle the bottle again. The bottle also guarantees cleanliness, safety and compliance with Food and Drug Administration standards.
