First bio-attributed prosthetic foot shell made of 100% renewable PVC

Fillauer, a global expert in orthotic and prosthetic innovation, launched the first-ever bio-attributed prosthetic foot shell using INEOS Inovyn’s BIOVYN PVC to contribute to sustainability.

 

BIOVYN PVC is made of 100% renewable feedstock, which helps cut CO2 emission without compromising the quality, durability and performance of product. The BIOVYN-based foot shell delivers the same colors available, performance, price point, look and feel.

BIOVYN-based foot shell offers the same quality, durability and performance with additional advantage of sustainability.

 

“Our new foot shell range is twice as sustainable and durable. This innovation reflects our unwavering commitment to reducing environmental impact while enhancing durability and performance,” said Alexander Engstrom, Marketing Manager at Fillauer.

 

INEOS Inovyn’s BIOVYN PVC is certified by the Routable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB). It has been impacting more industrial applications since its launch in 2019, ranging from automotive to construction.
