Novolex introduces recyclable food packaging containers with PCR content

Novolex, a packaging solution provider, introduces food packaging containers that are both recyclable and made with a minimum 10% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content.

 

Manufactured by Novolex brand Waddington North America, the new products include various sizes of dessert cups, tamper-evident containers, cake containers and bakery clamshells.

Novolex offers a range of food packaging containers that are recyclable and made with PCR content.

 

The product range includes:

 

  • Signature dessert cups: The transparent cups are made with polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is strong, lightweight and recyclable plastic. They come in three sizes and with a universal lid.

  • CakePak bases and lids: The clear containers offer the patented EZ Release system that features easy-to-use lift tabs.

  • BreakAway tamper-evident containers: The clear containers are with tamper-evident feature. They are also stackable.

  • Multi-use clamshells: The clear containers deliver optimal product visibility which enhances food presentation. They also feature a secure closure that provides a tight seal to keep food fresh.
