Accredo and Fresh-Lock team at Presto collaborated to produce stand-up pouch with PCR content.

The stand-up pouch, with more than 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content, consists of AccredoFlex range of recycled content films and Fresh-Lock’s Child-Guard slider technology.

Containing at least 25% PCR material, the child-resistant track maintains dependable protection and a recyclable child-safe closure.

Todd Meussling, Fresh-Lock Senior Manager Market Development, explained that PCR component is critical for true circularity in packaging.

“The future of the circular economy hinges on incorporating recycled content and being able to do so across all consumer packaged goods markets,” added Jonathan Quinn, Vice President of Marketing and Sustainability at Accredo Packaging.

Collaboration between Accerdo and Presto provides new standard for recycled content incorporation, embracing both safety and sustainability. This initiative underscores both companies’ commitment in circular economy.
