TotalEnergies Corbion and Sulapac collaborate on recycled biodegradable materials for cosmetic packaging
TotalEnergies Corbion and Sulapac forged pioneering alliance to integrate recycled and biodegradable materials into the cosmetic sector.

Luminy PLA bioplastics technology from TotalEnergies Corbion allows biobased, biodegradable materials and recycled alternatives to be applied in cosmetic sector. Recycled biodegradable biopolymers, such as rPLA, is available to provide similar quality compared to virgin materials.
Sulapac integrates TotalEnergies Corbion’s recycled biodegradable biopolymers into select material grades, ensuring seamless incorporation of eco-conscious elements into cosmetic packaging.
In addition, Sulapac actively plans to contribute to recycling commitment by collecting and delivering waste materials to TotalEnergies Corbion, closing the loop and promoting circular economy.
Through the adoption of biobased recycled biopolymers, the cosmetics industry can embrace a circular approach, fostering a more sustainable future.
