At the Q&A session, Ping Song stated that one of the most challenging problem of plastic recycling is the use of multiple plastics in one packaging.

During the Q&A session, Song pointed out that one of the challenges of current plastic waste recycling is the multiple material in plastic packaging. Take bottle as an example, the body of bottle is mainly made with PET while bottle cap and film are made of other materials. Recycling is complicated and thus, mono-material packaging is the future to promote recycling.
