CHINAPLAS: 293,590 visitors for the first three days
CHINAPLAS 2024 entered the third day on yesterday (Apr 25), welcoming a total no. of 81,662 visitors, including 20,067 came from overseas (around 25%).
In the past three days, a total of 293,590 visitors attended the mega plastics and rubber trade fair in which 64,309 (around 22%) were from overseas. According to the organizer, Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd., the total no. of visitors for the first three days this year has surpassed that of 2023 edition (248,222).

Talking to some exhibitors on site, it was found that the circular economy and carbon neutrality have become the driving force for innovation in the chemical and materials sectors, while equipment manufacturers are accelerating automation, digitalization, and cost effectiveness to help customers achieve development.
SABIC: Innovative materials pushes electrification, sustainable energy, circular economy and better life quality
Under the theme "COLLABORATE TO GROW, INNOVATE TO WIN", SABIC’s booth (in Hall 6.2 C42) at CHINAPLAS 2024 is comprised of four major areas – electrification, sustainable energy, circular economy, and better life quality. It also specially sets up innovative area and Chinese area, showcasing SABIC’s latest technologies and solutions at material science area in all round.

Audia Elastomers: First launch of net zero emission product portfolio, containing up to 100% recycled content
Audia Elastomers launched AudiaFlex sustainable TPE product portfolio, sourced from recycling consumable products, industrial products, bio-based and ocean-based products. It contains up to 100% recycled content and 75% bio-based content, which is compatible with conventional TPE, TPV and TPU. The product portfolio fits for home appliances, consuming electronics, daily chemical products, daily consumables, etc.

FCS: Innovated in multi-color, multi-material injection molding technology
Junjie Wang, Vice Chairman of the FCS Group, stated that 2024 sees the 50th anniversary of the Group. The company groups its 50 years of experience in injection molding technologies and brings new machines, including multi-component injection molding machine to CHINAPLAS 2024.

Multitech: One-stop LSR injection molding solution brings new leap
Jianye Li, Sales Director from Multitech, explained that Multitech has deepened its skills and continuously upgrading its multi-color, multi-material area. Multitech offers a one-stop automated solution to LSR injection molding, gradually achieving an alternative for high-end imported products in this area.

motan: Digitalized auxiliary equipment maximize company’s benefits
Mingyan Xu, CTO from motan Group, introduced that one of the highlighted exhibits from motan is the use of fiber optic communication technology, featuring fast transmission speed, wide coverage distance, as well as strong anti-interference and fault tolerance capabilities.

Yuzhen Technology: High speed and stable inline bottle preform visual inspection system
Wang Jian, General Manager, Suzhou Yuzhen Technology Co., Ltd., explained that the fully automatic bottle inspection machine showcased at CHINAPLAS 2024 can achieve automatic adjustment for different products. Besides, one inspection machine can correspond to multiple blow molding machines at the same time, achieving mixed production inspection connection, which is said as the first in China.
In addition, Yuzhen Technology's AI high-speed bottle preform detection machine has adopted AI deep learning algorithms for high-speed bottle preform detection. The advantage is that the detection accuracy is higher, and the speed is faster than the previous generation model. Currently, the speed is 36000 per hour, which is at the leading level in China.
