New alliance formed: IFS-Integrated Forming Solutions for North American thermoforming packaging market

Four leading European companies in their respective fields have formed IFS-Integrated Forming Solutions, a technical alliance to provide integrated solutions and support to the North American plastic thermoforming packaging market.

IFS-Integrated Forming Solutions was unveiled at NPE 2024 and is based in Houston, Texas. Partners of the alliance include Switzerland's WM Thermoforming Machines, Italy's MacDue Impianti and T2, and Spain's Ausil Systems.

Thermoforming machine manufacturer

Based in Stabio, Switzerland, WM Thermoforming Machines offers innovative, highly automated thermoformers with advanced high precision steel-rule cutting and punch-and-die technology.

Additionally, the broad portfolio of thermoformers can be merged with the in-house extrusion and rimming technology.

Industrial automation expert

MacDue Impianti in Bologna, Italy specializes in industrial automation. The automatic downstream lines include stacker, sleeve wrapper, case-packer and palletizer systems. It provides comprehensive services from consultancy to production, installation and after-sales support.

Thermoforming machines and molds producer

Also from Italy, T2 based in Sondalo, designs and manufactures high-productivity thermoforming lines and customized molds. In recent years, its machine portfolio has expanded from rigid polymers to paper packaging, producing 80% of the machine components internally.

Automated inspection systems supplier

Based in Gijon, Spain, AUSIL Systems designs, manufactures, installs, and maintains advanced automated in-line inspection systems. The company develops products based on computer vision and artificial intelligence to detect product defects during industrial production processes.
