Trinseo launches dry lamination adhesive for green flexible food packaging
Trinseo launches LIGOS A 9200, a high-solids acrylic waterborne adhesive designed for dry lamination of flexible packaging structures for food-contact packaging.

Trinseo’s LIGOS A 9200 is tailored for dry lamination of flexible food-contact packaging.
LIGOS A 9200 is tailored for paper and polyolefins, polyvinylidene chloride-coated substrates, metalized film, polyamide, and polyester films. The material results in high initial shear and bond strength.
The emulsion boasts a high solid content of 62% to facilitate high lamination speeds and more efficient drying. It also enables fast slitting in post-lamination processes. These enhance the operational efficiency.
The new acrylic emulsion has been certified by Papiertechnische Stiftung (PTS), an independent research and service institute of the German paper industry, for recyclability. PTS tests have confirmed that more than 99% of the paper fibers within the structure are recovered in Standard Mill Recycling when using LIGOS A 9200.
LIGOS A 9200 is available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
