After the successful launch of the AMSil and AMSil Silbione brand which also won the 2021 R&D 100 award, Elkem is continuing its material innovation campaign in Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing.
The new AMSil 20503 & AMSil Silbione 24503 range has longer shelf life for restricted and unrestricted medical application. They are available with Shore A hardness from ShA 10 to ShA 70 with all well-known properties of 100% silicones for LDM (Liquid Deposit Molding) based systems.
Elkem will also launch a new reference AMSil 92102 in the support material series. This paste-like water-soluble material has improved printability and surface aspects. It is suitable to use with the AMSil and AMSil Silbione range for more design freedom in Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing.
Elkem will launch the new AMSil and AMSil Silbione ranges for Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing at the Formnext 2024 in Frankfurt, Germany, from November 19 to 22.
