Nordson launches the VersaBlue II Melter, an advanced adhesive dispensing system specifically designed for hygiene market for applications such as baby diapers, adult incontinence products, and feminine hygiene products.

Developed by the Global Nonwovens division of Nordson, the new melter builds on the proven success of the original VersaBlue series. By integrating the latest technology and enhanced standards, the melter features superior precision, efficiency, seamless integration into existing processes, and modern diagnostics.

 

Key features and benefits include:

  • Precise Control: The VersaBlue II Melter utilizes advanced gear dosing and variable-speed drives to ensure consistent adhesive application, which helps in reducing material waste and improving product quality.

  • Energy Efficiency: Enhanced thermal insulation in the VersaBlue II Melter reduces energy consumption by up to 10%, contributing to sustainability.

  • Seamless System Integration: The melter supports EtherCAT and OPC UA, facilitating easy integration with existing systems and ensuring future-proof operations.

  • Modern Diagnostics: Latest diagnostic features detect and display error sources in real time, making maintenance easier and reducing unplanned downtime.
